L'avis des experts

Wine Enthusiast:

Despite drought, heat and sun in the summer, the 2013 harvest ended in October with heavy rain. Yet this Champagne is rich and still crisp. The acidity works together with maturity and toast. It was aged on its lees for eight years before disgorgement. The result is a ripe wine aging slowly. It is ready to drink.

James Suckling:

This has notes of lemon peel, gingerbread, figs, raspberries and croissants. Bright and zesty with a medium body and fine bubbles. Lemony acidity. Lively. 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. Disgorged in July 2022. Drink now.

Decanter:

A beguiling complexity of succulent yellow stone fruit and ripe red apples seamlessly complements the buttery croissant and brioche texture and mouth-puckeringly fresh lemon zest finish.
