This ancient Champagne shows a unique undertone of ginseng, dried pear, dried and candied apple and pineapple. Just a hint of caramel. Full-bodied with freshness and density that is so impressive. The flavor of the pinot noir comes out clearly with dried strawberry and hints of pie crust and cedar. 45% pinot noir, 40% chardonnay and 15% pinot meunier. 37 years in bottle. Disgorged September 2023. Dosage 3g/L. Drink now.
