The entry-level white 2023 Neno is their regional Godello, produced with grapes from different soils in the Sil Valley using neutral yeasts to respect the varietal character. The harvest started and stopped because of the rain, and the wine, which was kept with the lees in stainless steel, achieved good ripeness, 13.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.34. It's still a little reductive, balsamic and faintly medicinal. 2023 was also warm but not as warm as 2022; the plants didn't get blocked, and the grapes were normal size. 2023 was still dry, but the ripeness was more balanced than in 2022 (I tasted this in the context of all the other 2022s...). The wine is still round and tender but a little sharper and tastier, with an almost salty finish that lifts it up. 56,400 bottles produced and some magnums, a small growth from previous years. It was bottled in May 2024.

Nariz intensa de flores blancas, fruta blanca y cítricos. Oleico, amplio, largo, ligeramente salino y mineral. Recuerdo afrutado persistente
