L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2022 Pies Negros is a village red produced with 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano from Ábalos. It has 14% alcohol and a pH of 3.54. It's a little rustic, with an earthy touch, abundant, slightly dusty tannins and a dry finish. 65,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2023.

James Suckling:

An excellent red with lots of cherries, plums, grilled herbs, peppery spices and touches of chalk and graphite. The slightly rustic tannins offer gravity and the energy and bright acidity make you want to drink more than one glass. Tempranillo and graciano. Better in one more year when the tannins round off a bit more.
