L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2014 Reserva has a more modern profile and more forward fruit despite its relatively long élevage. It's a blend of Tempranillo with 10% Graciano from Briones, fermented separately in small French oak vats and matured in new and second use French and American barriques for 24 months. It's quite smoky and balsamic, with integrated oak but still showing some toasted notes and ripe fruit without excess, a mixture of red and black berries. It has good balance and a medium-bodied clean palate, with some faint leathery sensation. 225,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2018.

Tim Atkin:

Back after a break in the rain-affected 2013 vintage, the Vivanco Reserva is an eminently drinkable assemblage of Tempranillo with 10% Graciano, aged in a combination of mostly French and American oak, with aromatic vanilla and cinnamon spice, red berry fruit, a hint of the farmyard and racy acidity. 2020-24
