Tim Atkin:

Alberto Moro, owner and winemaker at Lagar de Moga, works with organic grapes in Rueda and Nava del Rey on typical gravelly soils. Fermented in concrete tanks, the wine spends 12 months in 600L French barrels which brings some woody spice. It is a serious wine with a mineral core and some exotic cardamom and white pepper spice. A savoury finish, the wine offers lovely precision with direct, elegant acidity. 2024-28.
