L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

A full and layered red with a deep core of dark fruit and hints of ground cloves, hazelnuts and sandalwood. Structured and firm, with chewy tannins. It’s rich but balanced, showing persistence and focus. Lingering finish. Better after 2025.

Tim Atkin:

Aged in American oak barrels, as most of the Tinto Pesquera wines tend to be, this uses grapes from various parcels in Pesquera de Duero, many of them located on the páramo at over 900 metres. Modern, floral and well structured, it has a balsamic undertone, appealing cinnamon spice and plum, black cherry and strawberry fruit. A very smart Crianza. 2024-29
