L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

Los Tollos comes from a single parcel of 41-year-old grapes at 430 metres in Villamediana de Iregua. Made with a field blend of Tempranillo and 2% each of Mazuelo and Malvasía Riojana, it's a Rioja Oriental cuvée that's all about freshness, focus and balance. Smooth and elegant, it's a magic carpet ride of a red, all pomegranate, black olive and blueberry fruit framed by tannins. 2025-32.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Los Tollos Viñedo Singular feels a little oaky after it matured in French oak barrels (33% of them new) for 11 months. It's ripe and powerful, with 14.4% alcohol and abundant but fine-grained tannins. 1,030 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2022. - Luis Gutiérrez.
