The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Selección Especial was produced with a blend of 72% Tempranillo and 28% Syrah from their certified organic vineyards and matured for 20 months in French oak barrels, 50% of them new and the rest second use. It's ripe and quite marked by the élevage, coming through as a bit jammy with sweet berry fruit and abundant spice. It's medium to full-bodied and has 14.5% alcohol, reflecting the warmer year, with abundant, grainy tannins and plenty of oak-related flavors and sensations in the dry finish. Give it time and/or powerful food. 4,224 bottles and 691 magnums were filled in April 2022.

James Suckling:

Notes of dark berries, cedar, dried herbs and spice box on the nose. It’s medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins. A little rustic, but the blend of tempranillo and syrah works here with nice fruit on the palate. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
