Masottina R.D.O. Levante Extra Dry 2021

The Masottina 2021 Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Rive di Ogliano Millesimato RDO Levante Extra Dry shows little hint of dried flower, grapefruit and white peach that build modestly in intensity in the glass. This is a clean, compact sparkling wine with tight beading. It offers a refreshing quality that makes it perfect for summer sipping. Fruit comes from a vineyard with 50-year-old vines and eastern exposures. Production is 12,000 bottles.

The wine shows a fine aroma of red apples, white flowers, and pear notes. The rich and voluminous palate offers a deliciously off-dry candied apple and caramel flavour with balancing refreshing acidity and a fine creamy mousse.
