Kientzler Riesling Reserve Particulière 2015

From older vines grown in grand cru vineyards of Ribeauvillé, the 2015 Riesling Réserve Particulière opens deep, intense and quite mineral on the nose. Rich and intense, but also pure and mineral on the palate, with a sandstone piquancy, finesse and vitality, this is a well-structured Riesling with good grip and mineral tension. It is still far too young to be enjoyed without irritation, but should be excellent in five or six years. The finish is pure and salty, full of grip and tension, but also ripe fruit aromas. This Réserve is stunningly pure and fresh for 2015.
