Delicate raspberry and redcurrant fruit on the nose. Ripe and generous palate with firm tannins and well judged oak.

Whiffs of truffle and forest floor lend a perfumed, sauvage tone to ripe, bristling blackberry and black-cherry flavors in this nuanced wine. One of Santenay's better-known premier-cru sites, Les Gravières borders the even better-known Chassagne-Montrachet. While tannins are drying and a bit tight, it's approachable young and should hold through 2028.
