Very complex on the nose, showing notes of sweet coconut and ripe red cherries and plums. Silky and delicious.

Brooding depth with excellent complexity. There’s an attractive umami touch along with notes of dried black mushrooms, dark spices, pine cones, dark chocolate, focused blackberries and dark cherries. It has a full body and fine-veined tannins. Juicy, fleshy and long, but still quite reserved. An exemplary, well-rounded Rioja gran reserva that’s already approachable, but will improve in the next four to eight years. - Zekun Shuai, Senior Editor.
