James Suckling:

Masses of prunes, jammy blackberries, black dates, raisins, licorice syrup, herb tea and jasmine. Unctuous and quite syrupy, but the nice touch of cocoa powder bitterness might have offset the sheer richness and lusciousness of a PX. Still, this is almost painful for the concentration it delivers, which is full of syrupy quintessence. Long, intensely bittersweet and warming finish. Better with ice cream. Glass stopper. Drink now or hold.
