Carrasviñas Félix 2021
Fiche technique
L'avis des experts
The 2021 Carrasviñas Félix is the second vintage of the wine created to commemorate the 80th birthday of Félix Lorenzo Cachazo, father of the current generation at the winery. It has a spicy nose with a twang that reminds me of some wines from Jura. They wanted a wine from yesteryear, so this is a naked Verdejo from ungrafted vines in the village of Alcazarén that they fermented with indigenous yeasts in a 1,600-liter amphora where it matured for 12 months with the lees that were worked periodically. They didn't mention flor, but the wine suggests it. The palate is light and chalky, very tasty, almost salty. A Verdejo full of character. 2,096 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2023.
