L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2022 Paso Las Mañas was selected from the 3.9 hectares of Tempranillo and has similar parameters as the 2021, but the feeling is quite different. This is more serious, slightly riper (but with the balance the whole range showed), juicy and young, a little closed, with fine tannins. 7,000 bottles were filled in December 2023.

James Suckling:

Attractive and complex nose of fresh black cherries, blueberries, ash, graphite and dark spices. Something attractively damp and mossy as well. A powerhouse of tannins from the fruit, with good austerity marked by acidity and tight, four-square tannins. Nothing luxurious, but quite pristine and long. 100% tempranillo planted in 2013 at 620 meters in Samaniego. Drink from 2026.
