L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The Abbazia di Novacella 2021 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Riesling Praepositus sees stainless steel only and is made with fruit harvested in the fall that is then blended with about 10% late harvest fruit picked in mid-January. That little, unusual tweak gives the wine just a touch more substance and texture that is hardly noticeable to the senses but that definitely changes the overall profile of this pretty release. The bouquet reveals wet river stone, waxy fruit, honey, exotic papaya with hydrocarbons and petroleum jelly. This wine will benefit from a few more years in the bottle. 12,000 bottles released.

James Suckling:

Notes of grapefruit, green pears, sliced apples, flint and fresh nutmeg here. It’s medium-bodied with sharp, vibrant acidity. Poised and mineral. Drink or hold.

Falstaff:

Leuchtendes, helles Strohgelb. Fruchtbetonte Nase, nach reifem Steinobst, Aprikose, Mirabelle, und ein Hauch Kamille. Mit schönem Druck am Gaumen, markante, lebendige Säure, harmonisches anhaltendes Finale.
